Meet Lija – the hug-loving sweetheart ready for a fresh start! After surviving life on the streets, Lija hasn’t let anything dampen her spirit. This 3-year-old Lab/Shar-Pei mix is all about affection, adventure, and endless loyalty. At just 29 pounds, she’s the perfect size for snuggles—and trust us, she gives the best hugs! Lija will literally stand up, wrap her paws around you, and melt into your arms. Lija is a happy, social girl who gets along wonderfully with other dogs and adores people. Whether she’s zooming around the yard, trotting along on walks (she loves her harness!), or soaking up belly rubs, Lija’s joy is infectious. She’s playful, affectionate, and ready to be your loyal sidekick through all of life’s adventures. She’s spayed, heartworm negative, healthy, and ready to find a family who will finally give her the love and security she’s been searching for. A foster or foster-to-adopt home would change her life forever—and she’s more than ready to change yours right back.
