My story

Location: Eldersburg, MD Current Location: Eldersburg, MD PERSONALITY Meet Christmas, a five-month-old, 12-pound winter princess with eyes full of wonder and ears that seem to whisper secrets of her fairytale future. She’s a bit of a paradox right now - desperately wanting love, but not quite sure how to accept it. She’s shy, she pees a little when you pick her up, and she’s still figuring out this whole “human affection” thing. But make no mistake: this girl wants to trust. She’s just waiting for the right person to help her step into the spotlight. ENERGY LEVEL Low to moderate. Christmas isn’t bouncing off the walls - she’s quietly watching, listening, absorbing everything around her. She’s still learning that the world is safe, and she’s doing so with the gentlest spirit. SKILLS AND TRAINING - Potty Training: A work in progress, especially when nervous, but she’s trying! - Crate Training: Still being introduced. A quiet space helps her feel safe. - Learning to Trust: Top of her syllabus right now - and every day, she gets a little braver. COMPANIONSHIP Christmas doesn’t want to be alone - she just wants to feel secure when she’s with you. She’s happiest curled nearby, watching you move about the room, and is learning that being held doesn’t always mean something scary. Her ideal family will be calm, gentle, and ready to cheer her on through small victories - like walking up to you on her own or holding eye contact without fear. LOVE AND AFFECTION Once she blossoms, you’ll have a story worth singing about. Christmas could absolutely headline her own musical - From Shy Pup to Showstopper. This little leading lady has so much love to give, and she’s working up the courage to give it. With her expressive face and dainty white socks, she’s got all the makings of a star - she just needs a loving cast and crew.
