My story

Adoption Fee Covered + Free Training! Great news! Lottie's adoption fee has been fully covered by a generous supporter, and OPH is including six virtual training sessions with a certified trainer during the first 60 days to help set you both up for success! Current location: Centreville, VA MEET LOTTIE: The Sweetest Peach From Georgia! You’ll Love Her Expressive Eyes and Her Gleaming Black Coat Highlighted with Gold brindle. PERSONALITY: Lottie is a sweet and super-affectionate girl with loads of charm. Lottie loves being with people, giving everyone kisses, chewing on a Nylabone, showing off her ability to stand on her back 2 legs like a meerkat, and is happy to curl up on the couch and nap for hours. SPECIAL CONSIDERATIONS: Lottie is a medium-energy dog who loves hikes, long walks and other adventures. But she also loves lounging on the couch. Lottie has a fan at a pet boutique in Alexandria, VA who has pledged to provide Lottie's adopters with three free training sessions and a year of free food - four 25-pound bags - for this special girl. COMPANIONSHIP: Lottie adores people and she quickly makes a new friend with every person she meets. She gets along with most other dogs too, but she especially loves her humans and she really loves being the center of attention. TRAINING AND LEARNING: Lottie is house trained. Lottie has made wonderful progress on her leash skills and with a well-timed treat she now walks past squirrels, rabbits, and other dogs without an issue. This smart girl loves her treats which is helpful during training sessions. She would love to continue learning in her new home. She is fine in her crate at breakfast, dinner, and bedtime but she prefers not to spend too much time in her crate during the day. Lottie loves car rides! TRAITS AND IDEAL HOME: Lottie is gaining confidence but for now, she prefers not to be alone so she would thrive in a family where there is usually someone home. She is looking forward to having a loving human guide her as she learns more and grows into her best self. While a fenced yard would be great for Lottie, she loves exploring the sights and smells on walks so a yard isn't required. LOVE AND AFFECTION: Lottie will welcome attention from anyone, whether you are rubbing her ears, chin or belly. If you’re looking for an affectionate, fun-loving companion, Lottie’s ready to brighten your life with her kisses and charm! Included Veterinary Care: -Visit to Veterinarian -Health certificate -Included Vaccinations: Up to date for her age -Spay/Neutered -Microchipped -Heartworm Preventative -Flea and Tick Preventative -Worm/Parasite Treatments

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Lottie, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
