My story

Hello! My name is Winnie. I’m a 10-week-old Blue Heeler (Australian Cattle Dog) with a big personality in a tiny body.Don’t let my size fool you—I’m full of energy, love, and playful sass! I love to run, wrestle, chase, and play with other pups and kids. After all the excitement, I’m the queen of cuddly naps—blankets, laps, dog beds, you name it!My foster family says I’m sweet, snuggly, and smart. I adore my humans and love to follow them around like a little shadow. I also love to eat, and mealtime is one of my favorite parts of the day!Since I’m a Blue Heeler, I’m naturally energetic and need lots of daily exercise and mental stimulation—puzzle toys, walks, and playtime are a must! As I grow, I’ll thrive with a family who can help me stay busy and keep learning.I’m currently going through a puppy nipping phase, which is normal for my breed (we’re herders, after all!). I’ll need gentle correction and positive reinforcement as I learn what’s okay to nibble—and what’s not!My ideal home would have playful dogs or active humans, and I’d love a family who understands my needs as a working breed. I’m doing great with crate training and sleeping through the night, and I’m working on potty training like a champ!Please remember all puppies need continued training and socialization to grow into the best companions they can be. I’m ready to bring joy, fun, and love into your life—are you ready for me?
