Buddy

My story

Buddy is five years old and weighs around 28 pounds. He has a heart of gold and is always happy to see you. Buddy is full of life and happiness around the shelter. He does great with other dogs and enjoys play groups with the younger pups. He loves to curl up in his dog bed and take his afternoon naps. He does have a condition known as Cherry Eye, which is where a tear gland in the corner of the eye has popped out and looks like a bright red cherry. This condition can only be fixed with surgery to replace the glands to their normal position. While he has been at the shelter, we have started him on lubricating eye drops to help him. Buddy will need to work with a veterinarian to provide treatment for his eyes when he gets adopted. Buddy would be a great fit in any home and will always be able to bring a smile to your face. He has the sweetest disposition and will always curl up next to you for pets.
