PennyFemaleBlue Heeler/Beagle mix13 lbsDOB: 8/29/24Spay date: 6/24/25Dog Friendly Kids 12 and over, sorry, no littlesSleeps thru the night in her crateShy/Skiddish at firstPotty training on a schedule Can be high energy/zoomie prone Penny is a very sweet and loving puppy who came from an abusive situation and ended up in a shelter in TN with her mother, father, and siblings. That shelter is now scheduled to be demolished. This sweet girl made it out and is now looking for a loving home she can call her own.Penny is a bit shy and skiddish at first, especially around men, but once she knows and trusts you, she is so full of energy with love and affection that she will steal your heart. Penny is learning to sit for a treat.She does like to jump when she gets excited, like any puppy. Her foster Mom is  working on this with her. She loves hugs and kisses and will jump right into your lap for them.Toys and chew bones are her favorite pastimes. She will throw her toys around and try to bury her bones in the couch covers or cushions. Penny does like all the treats to herself, but she is learning that when she gets a treat, so does her foster dog sister.Penny is just learning about the outside world and all the noises around her. They can be pretty scary for a little puppy. Her foster Mom takes her on walks so she can explore all the new smells and things around her.She loves her walks and would love a family whom she could explore the outdoors with.Penny's foster Mom loves her beautiful, colorful coat and her soulful eyes. The way she looks up to her for love and attention is priceless. Penny used to be afraid of the TV, but now she will lay beside her foster Mom and watch TV and eat snacks at night with her.This little girl needs a home where she will only know love and affection for the rest of her life.
