Whether he’s watching the world from a cozy spot or slowly inching closer to sit beside you, Mick is learning every day that love and kindness are all around him.He would do best in a home that understands the needs of a shy dog and is willing to give him the time and space to build trust at his own pace. Older kids are often a great fit for our dogs, and homes with younger children will be considered based on each dog’s individual needs. Skills like house training and leash walking may take a little extra patience and practice. However, with understanding and a gentle hand, most of these dogs adapt quite quickly.
