Meet Lisa – A Gentle Spirit with a Curious HeartLisa is a 6-year-old Lhasa Apso who weighs 17 pounds. With her soulful eyes and quiet presence, Lisa is a lovely girl who`s still learning to trust the world around her. She’s naturally curious—often watching what’s going on from a safe distance—but she approaches new experiences at her own gentle pace.Though shy at first, Lisa’s sweet nature begins to shine through as she gets to know you. She enjoys peaceful environments where she can observe, explore, and warm up slowly on her terms. Her calm demeanor and soft gaze make her an easy companion for a patient home ready to help her continue blossoming.Lisa gets along with other dogs and will benefit from gentle encouragement and consistency as she builds confidence in her new surroundings. With time and love, she’ll become a deeply loyal friend.******Before being rescued, many of our dogs had limited socialization, so they may need some time to adjust to life as a family pet. Older kids are often a great fit for our dogs, and homes with younger children will be considered based on each dog’s individual needs. Skills like house training and leash walking may take a little extra patience and practice. However, with understanding and a gentle hand, most of these dogs adapt quite quickly.
