My story

I'm a shepherd mix with a big heart and an even bigger love for my people. I am housetrained, polite and cooperative. Although I love going out for walks (I get so excited when I see the leash) I'm still a little nervous and just need a bit more experience to get comfortable away from home. I sleep in my fosters' bedroom quietly all night and don't disturb them. I'm easy around the house and don't get into mischief. I'm getting more comfortable being left alone but still need to work on that. I get along with other dogs, but I really prefer friends who are mellow and laid-back, just like me. I'm a gentle soul who takes a little time to warm up, but once I know you're my person, I'll lean right into your love and never look back. Pets, snuggles, and quiet companionship are my favorite things. I'm looking for someone who will be my guide and my safe place, someone who understands that my heart opens wide with patience and kindness. If you're looking for a loyal buddy and a forever friend who will love you with all her heart, I think we might just be perfect for each other.
