My story

Meet Maggie Pie! đŸŸđŸ„§ Maggie Pie is a sweet, gentle girl with a calm spirit and a heart full of love. When you first meet her, you might find her snoozing peacefully in her kennel—she’s got that relaxed, go-with-the-flow vibe. She wakes up easily, is a breeze to leash, and enjoys a nice stroll before heading to the play yard for some fun. Maggie Pie loves affection and will happily come over for pets and attention. She enjoys toys, too, and has a soft, playful side that shines when she’s in the yard. Indoors, she’s friendly and social—she greeted several new people with a loose, wiggly body and a happily wagging tail. She seems to be hard of hearing—she doesn’t react to squeaky toys, loud noises, or the usual chaos of the kennel—but that doesn’t dampen her joyful spirit one bit. In fact, her peaceful nature might just be one of her superpowers. Maggie Pie would make a wonderful, easygoing companion for someone who appreciates quiet moments, gentle play, and unconditional love. Come meet this special girl—you’ll be glad you did. 💕 As always, we strongly recommend bringing any resident dogs to the shelter for a meet and greet with potential new family members to be sure it's a good match. If bringing a dog for a meet and greet, please bring proof of up to date rabies, bordetella, and DHPP vaccines. To meet your future pet, come to Guilford County Animal Services between 12 and 4 any day except Tuesday!

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Maggie Pie, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
