My story

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Gaby — also known as Ralphie or Wreck-It Ralph (because, let’s be honest, he’s a little tornado of love and chaos). This 4-month-old Lhasa Apso is basically a floor mop with feelings—sweet, snuggly, and on a mission to make your life instantly better.   Ralphie is a professional mood booster. He’ll smother you in kisses, curl up in your lap like a fluffy weighted blanket, and follow you everywhere just to make sure you don’t forget how loved you are. He’s your emotional support dog, therapist, and shadow—all rolled into one fuzzy package.   He came into rescue after showing signs of a luxating patella. While we haven’t confirmed it with imaging, that’s the reason he was surrendered—so we're keeping an eye on those knees as he grows, just in case!   Like any self-respecting puppy, Ralphie is still figuring things out. Potty training? We’re working on it—expect progress, not perfection. Kennel training? He’ll do alright if he can see you… otherwise, prepare for some vocal commentary. Because of his talkative tendencies, apartment life or shared walls might not be his jam.   He’s a total social butterfly with other dogs—big or small, he loves them all! Cats, though? Well… he may have picked on the cat in his last home. Could’ve been playful puppy energy, could’ve been him thinking the cat was an easy target. Either way, let’s just say we’d want to tread carefully there.   As for commands, he doesn’t know any yet—but he does know how to be ridiculously cute and totally irresistible, which is kind of more important.   If you’re ready for a little lovebug who’s equal parts chaos and cuddle, Ralphie is your guy. Get ready to fall hard!    Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.Interested in adopting this lovable animal? Please go to our website www.wagsmn.org and fill out an Adoption Application.  Once the application is processed, a Wags representative will contact you, answer any questions you may have, and set up a time/location for a meet and greet!  A home visit is required prior to adoption.  Thank you for choosing to adopt! Breed and temperament determination:  Wags & Whiskers Animal Rescue attempts to determine breed and temperament using a combination of looks, information provided to us at intake, and our experience with the animal while in our Rescue.  We do not guarantee this determination.
