My story

Meet Winnie, a remarkable little dog with a heart full of love and a spirit that shines brighter than ever. Despite losing both of her eyes in a traumatic dog attack, Winnie has not lost her joy for life. She quickly learned to navigate her world with confidence, relying on her keen senses, gentle heart, and the comforting presence of her canine companions. Winnie adores other dogs and finds peace and friendship in their company. She's also incredibly affectionate with people, offering the sweetest kisses and cuddles without hesitation. Her courage and resilience inspire everyone she meets, showing that special needs are not limitations, they’re simply a different path. Winnie still loves adventure, whether it’s a walk in the grass or exploring new sounds and smells with enthusiasm. And she is a champion lap dog! She greets each day with trust and tenderness, reminding us that love doesn’t need to be seen...it’s felt. What she needs now is a family who sees her for the incredible soul she is and welcomes her into a life of safety, compassion, and belonging. Winnie is proof that even in the dark, there is still beauty, still joy, and still so much love to give.
