My story

** Note: Chowon can fly to Toronto and join his forever family on July 5th, upon adoption. He is currently in Korea. Background: Chowon was rescued earlier this spring from a city pound in Changwon, Korea. Since then, he’s been living at our boarding house with a group of other dogs, quietly waiting for his turn to find a forever home. Personality and Socialization: Chowon is a gentle, quiet, and affectionate boy. Submissive by nature, he has a soft, sweet presence and gets along well with both men and women. His energy level is moderate—he enjoys his playtime but is not overly excitable. Chowon is friendly with other dogs, both small and large, as long as they are calm and kind. He tends to shy away from dominant, bossy, or overly energetic dogs, preferring a more peaceful social group. Behaviour: This little guy has shown wonderful manners in many situations. He rides well in the car and has been calm and cooperative during vet visits and bath time. While leash walking is still a work in progress, he follows his human closely and is learning quickly. Busy or noisy environments can make him a bit nervous, so a calm setting would help him feel most secure. Health and Diet: Chowon is neutered, microchipped, and fully vaccinated. He has tested negative for parasites and receives monthly preventatives. He eats dry kibble and has shown no signs of allergies. Chowon recently passed a complete veterinary checkup and is healthy and ready to begin his next chapter. Ideal Home: Chowon is a quiet, gentle soul who would thrive in a calm and loving home. He’s not demanding and would be a great fit even for first-time dog parents, as long as they are patient and kind. An ideal adopter would be someone who works from home or has a flexible schedule and can spend a lot of time with him—someone who genuinely enjoys being with their dog and wants to include him in daily life. Chowon doesn’t ask for much, just a warm heart, a safe space, and someone who will love him as much as he’ll love them in return. Apply to adopt him through link below: https://www.freekoreandogs.org/dog/chowon/

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Chowon, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
