My story

Trilly (formerly Sheila) is fostered in Salem, WI Meet Trilly – A One-of-a-Kind Aussie with a Heart of Gold.  Trilly is a 1 - 2 year old black tri Australian Shepherd femaile with a full, fluffy tail and soulful eyes that will melt your heart. Her soft, luxurious coat and gentle nature make her as beautiful inside as she is out.  Trilly came from an Amish farm where she was used for breeding, but those days are behind her.   Now spayed, up to date on vaccines, and finally free to be a beloved pet, she’s ready for a fresh start in a loving home.  While at the former's owner's home, Trilly was injured in a lawn mower accident, resulting in the loss of her front left paw. But don’t let that fool you—this brave girl hasn’t lost an ounce of joy or spirit. She moves around confidently and happily, proving that resilience is her middle name.  Trilly is a classic Velcro dog, who is devoted, affectionate, and always happiest by your side. She’ll gladly curl up in your lap, follow you around the house, and offer sweet kisses and soft paw hugs. She especially loves gentle attention and will often hop up to ask for pets with a sparkle in her eye. Trilly has been around other dogs in her former home and in her foster home, but we do think she prefers all the attention, so she must meet any other dogs in the home. Trilly is cat-friendly and would likely be good with children, as well.  If you're looking for a loyal, loving companion who’s overcome the odds and still shines with joy, Trilly just might be your perfect match.  Trilly is ready to give her whole heart to someone special—could that be you? Trilly is spayed, microchipped, up to date on vaccinations and receiving monthly preventatives for fleas, ticks and heartworms.  Proof of heartworm purchases for any current or prior pets is required to adopt from our rescue.   NOTE:  All of our dogs live in foster homes with volunteers so we need an approved application on file to set up a meet with a dog you might have an interest in.  Please visit our website for more information on our adoption process, our adoption fees and a link to our adoption application.  We pride ourselves on matches that work for both the dog and your family.  MASR is here for your support, advice and safety net for our dogs for the remainder of their lives.  www.MidwestAustralianShepherdRescue.org ##2430297##
