Lucy Van Pelt

My story

Lucy Van Pelt walked into a trap.  She was heavily pregnant, and the person trapping had no clue she was even around.  Lucy decided she needed help and walked right in.She was a very scared girl.  However, she was not aggressive at all.  She was taken to her foster home and took to the pets and love she was getting.  She went into labor and was perfectly fine with her foster mom being there.  However, she ended up with 2 stuck babies and had an emergency C-section that evening.  There were 5 healthy babies delievered.  Lucy was just fine with her foster mom handling the babies and helping her take care of them . She raised them very well and was an excellent mom.  It is no time for her to find her home.Lucy is a very sweet girl and is loving.  However, her person will have to have patience with her.  She is very scared of new things.  Can't really blame her as we have no idea what her life was like.  She will take a bit to acclimate and be totally comfortable.  So upon arrival to her new home, it would be the very best to have her in a room with a place she can hide (cat caves are great for this).Lucy does have a very endearing ear.  She most likely had a hematoma that was untreated.  Her ear is how it is and will cause her no issues.  It is simply a part of her now.She loves meat tubes (Churos, Delectables) and can be motivated with them.  She has met other people besides her foster mom, and when offered a meat tube is hesitant at first, but does decide it is worth it, and other have pet her with no issues.Her love and affection are very much worth the time to get her to trust you.  Meat tubes help that along!Older children that know boundries would be best for Lucy.  No young children please.You can meet Lucy at Wentzville PetSmartJune 16, 2025, 2:14 am
