Kaboodle is a 10–12-week old Australian Cattle Dog (ACD) puppy with oversized floppy ears and an even bigger heart. This little guy is the full puppy package: smart, snuggly, playful, and people-loving. Despite battling a rough case of kennel cough, his cheerful spirit has never dimmed—he’s been sweet, curious, and cuddly from day one. Kaboodle is currently recovering in a cozy pen where he enjoys plenty of naps, zoomies in the backyard, and bonding time with his humans. He’s already showing impressive potty skills—he consistently goes outside when the garden is open and uses pee pads like a pro when indoors. Personality Kaboodle is a joyful blend of energy and affection. He’s playful but not wild, cuddly but independent enough to explore, and already proving to be a clever pup—he learned “sit” quickly and has successfully pulled off a few adorable pen escapes. When he first arrived, he was a bit sad to be separated from his sister, but it didn’t take long for his tail to wag and his personality to shine. He gets along great with other dogs (he was playing beautifully with his foster’s resident ACD mix before needing isolation) and shows no signs of shyness or aggression—just genuine puppy friendliness. Daily Routine Kaboodle eats breakfast around 7:30–8:00 a.m., then spends his day alternating between backyard adventures, naps, and cuddle sessions. At night, he sleeps in his pen. He hasn't started walks yet due to age and vaccination timing, but he shows curiosity outside and will likely love exploring the world once he's ready. Ideal Home Kaboodle would thrive in a home with or without another dog, and we expect he’ll do well with children and adults alike. He’ll need continued training, structure, and regular exercise to help him grow into the confident, loyal ACD he’s meant to be. He’s larger than average for his age, so adopters should be prepared for an active and athletic companion. Why You’ll Love Him Kaboodle is the kind of puppy who makes you fall in love fast—he’s sharp, affectionate, and endlessly endearing. His adorable ears, gentle eyes, and eager-to-please personality make him a standout among puppies. Even while sick, his sweet temperament has never wavered. 'He just wants to play with his doggie friends and shower love on his humans. Who could resist those ears?' If you're ready for a whip-smart, heart-meltingly sweet companion who’s as ready for cuddles as he is for play, Kaboodle may just be your perfect match.June 16, 2025, 1:08 am
