My story

Meet Daisy – 3 years old, 22 lbs of flirty Frenchie energy “Not looking for a hookup, just someone to share snacks, snuggles, and my final act with.” My not so cute history: I came from a breeder with my gal pal Rollie (don’t worry, we’re not bonded — I’m an independent woman now). The breeder did take care of me so I’m not neglected just breed for babies. Since then, I’ve discovered the finer things in life: long walks (even if I’m still figuring out how a leash works), Netflix marathons, and the pure joy of my human coming back from errands. Seriously, I throw a full-on party every time. I’m a 10/10: Potty training? Nailed it. Doggie door? Basically mastered. Crates? Eh… I’ll go in, but don’t shut me in like I’m back in the breeder barn — I like freedom, baby. Basic commands, yes for a snack! I’m a bigger girl so I like to eat! Family ties: I get along great with other dogs! I just need a few days to adjust and settle in — don’t expect me to be ready for a group hug on day one. A little stand offish at first, watching observing, sniffing around. Give me a little space and patience, and I’ll be wrestling in the yard or sharing snacks with the crew in no time. I’m a cuddler, but I’ve got boundaries, too. I hardly ever bark, (just initially when you meet me) but if you loom over me like a skyscraper, I might give a little woof of protest. Kneel down with a treat and a little respect? Boom — instant best friend. I’ll follow you everywhere — Velcro life activated. Food dates and love a must: Twice-daily meals are my jam, and I prefer not to eat in the crate (would you eat dinner locked in a closet? Thought not). Rub the top of my head when we first meet — not my body, I need a moment — but once I know you’re my person? Belly rubs, booty scratches, ear massages… I’m all in. Foster mom states: I AM amazing, and learning how to get comfy! I love it when she comes home from work and running errands because I kiss and lick her nonstop whether she likes it not she lets me get down! I love my fur friends at the house and my dog bed is preferred unless Hulu is on. If you’re looking for a loyal, quirky, cuddle-happy queen with a soft side and a sassy streak, I’m your girl. I was spay, vaccinated, and microchipped, adoption donation fee is $1050.00 (we absolutely must help the other dogs in the rescue). Apply for me at freedomfrenchierescue.org!

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Daisy Tallulah, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
