My story

Meet Violet – A Chatty, Quirky Girl with a Heart of Gold Currently in Tacoma, WA Apply to adopt at www.doggedly.org/adoption-app Violet is a 6-month-old tabby girl with a stunning dilute coat full of soft gray and tan swirls—and a big personality to match. She’s sweet, playful, and just the right amount of sassy. This curious little explorer loves to follow her humans around, chat about her day, and will even try to sneak a bite of food when no one’s looking. Life with Violet is never dull—she’s full of fun, affection, and charm. Violet thrives in a social home and enjoys being part of the action. She loves to play, cuddle, and soak up all the attention she can get. Whether she’s chasing toys or curling up for a nap in the sun, Violet brings warmth and joy wherever she goes. She’s also quite the talker and isn’t shy about letting you know when it’s snack time. Violet currently lives in foster care with a 7-year-old child, two senior cats, and a high-energy mini border collie—she gets along wonderfully with everyone. She’s confident, loving, and would do best in a home with another cat. She’s especially bonded to her brother, Vincent, and would love to find a forever home where they can stay together. The two are often found napping side by side, wrestling, or exploring together. Double the kitties, double the love! Her Backstory: Violet and her siblings were found living outdoors with their sweet mama, a gorgeous bob-tailed cat, in Houston, Texas. They were just tiny kittens when a good Samaritan stepped in to bring them indoors. The very next day, a single orphaned kitten—Sienna—was also found and accepted by their mother as one of her own. Together, this little family traveled all the way from Texas to Washington in search of loving homes. Violet is spayed, microchipped, fully vaccinated, dewormed, current on flea prevention, and has tested negative for FeLV and FIV. --- Adoption Requirements: All potential adopters must complete a pre-adoption interview, submit a veterinary reference, provide personal references, and submit home check photos prior to approval. Early applications are encouraged to allow time for approval and help us match you with the best fit. Apply to adopt at www.doggedly.org/adoption-app Don’t forget to ask about adopting Vincent too!

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Violet, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
