How this pet arrived: Conifer was brought in by a community member on May 14, 2025. Why this pet is the one for you:This spirited little lady is ready to branch out into her forever home! Conifer came to us with her littermate, and if you're looking to double the fun (and the cuddles), consider adopting the pair. Curious, playful, and full of kitten energy, Conifer brings joy wherever she goes-she's the kind of cat who turns a cardboard box into a five-star playground. Conifer has shown her resilience from the start. She recently had surgery to remove her left eye due to a painful infection, and she's healing like a champ. She'll need a bit of extra TLC while she recovers, including wearing her hard plastic e-collar at all times until her stitches are ready to come out (no earlier than 6/27). While she may be a one-eyed wonder now, it certainly doesn't slow her down-her zest for life is as big as ever. Her new family will need to monitor the healing site for signs of infection and be prepared to follow up with their vet for suture removal and any other care she may need down the line.
