My story

Sweet and petite, IRIS is a short-haired grey and white tabby young adult kitty with stunning green eyes. She is affectionate and playful, and a superb air biscuit maker! She loves a variety of toys, including the ever-elusive laser dot, string toys, and pom pom balls, which she carries in her mouth. As she was likely raised as an indoor/outdoor cat before her rescue, she is curious about the outdoors, but has adapted well to being an indoor cat. She would enjoy a home where she gets lots of playtime, chin scratches and belly rubs. She may do well with another young cat in the home for company. Iris was surrendered to CRAN when she was pregnant and gave birth to four kittens in her foster home (see photo). She is now thriving in a quiet, calm, environment, but is ready for a permanent home of her own. IRIS has been spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and is negative for FeLV and FIV. Her adoption fee includes a free wellness visit with our vet partners. To meet Iris in foster care, submit an adoption application for consideration at CatRescues.org/Adopt or a paper copy available at PetSmart. A volunteer will contact you within 3-5 business days for a possible meet and greet. The $155 adoption fee allows us to continue to provide care and find loving homes for abandoned and neglect cats in our Eugene/Springfield community. For more information, send an email to adoptioninfo@CatRescues.org or call 541-225-4955 option 1.
