My story

This pint-sized pup (currently just 5–7 lbs at 10 weeks old!) made her way to us all the way from Texas and is stealing hearts left and right. Her mom is a petite Cairn Terrier mix, and rumor has it dad may have been a Boston Terrier—which means we expect this cutie to stay on the smaller side Like all young pups, Petal is still learning the ropes when it comes to house training and crate training, so adopters should be ready to offer guidance, patience, and lots of treats. She’s currently getting great exposure to dogs, cats, and kids in her foster home—so with continued socialization, she’ll grow up to be a confident and well-adjusted little companion.Petal will be ready to go home around 12 weeks old after receiving her second round of vaccines. She’ll also return to AARF for her spay around 6 months of age (that part’s on us!).Looking for a tiny sidekick with a big future of snuggles, zoomies, and adventures? The adoption fee is $400 and covers all expenses needed to prepare dogs like this one for their forever homes. By the time you meet them, they’ve already been spayed/neutered (if age-appropriate) and microchipped. They’ve been checked by a veterinarian and are up to date on necessary vaccinations, including Rabies and DHLPP. They have also been tested for heartworm and tick-borne diseases and have started heartworm and flea preventative medication. Some of our dogs have even undergone extensive medical care to ensure they’re ready for a happy, healthy life with you!
