✅Currently located in South Korea✅️ 💟Available to fly to LAX💟 Meet Boonie🧡 💙 Boonie's News Account: @_adogs_everyday 1⃣ Health Condition * Spayed: Yes. * Others: Microchipped, heartworm re-test scheduled (June 2025) and anaplasma re-test scheduled(August 2025) 2⃣ Rescue Story * Boonie was found living on the streets in the cold winter, caring for her puppies. When a report was received and rescuers arrived at the scene, she was wearing a tightly fastened collar and nursing her babies right on the roadside. Seeing how thin she was while nursing, her and her puppies’ health was a major concern, so they were rescued immediately. 3⃣ Basic Information * With People: Seems to have been hurt by people in the past, so it takes time for her to open up. When meeting someone one-on-one, she gets nervous and whines. However, she comes closer and gently accepts petting. * With Dogs: Really loves other dogs! Though a bit shy around overly enthusiastic new friends, she gets along well and plays happily with others. * With Cats: Showed no particular interest when encountering cats outdoors. * Separation Anxiety: Unknown due to currently staying at our center. * Potty Training: Goes potty outdoors at our center. * Hygiene: Is good at baths, and fine with nail trimming, and brushing. * Walks: Still getting used to walking on a leash and is currently in training. Used to chew leashes due to a strong repulsion about them, but stopped chewing with repeated training. Gets a little excited about the new environment, but quickly calms down and follow the lead of guardians! * Car Sickness: No motion sickness during short trips. 4⃣ Special Notes * Is a shy due to the limited experience around people, so needs someone who will be patient and calm, allowing her to adjust at her own pace. Appears uncomfortable, especially when people approach with an eye contact, or when they hold out hands suddenly. * Does not eat food or treats while people are watching her. If they turn back or go away without showing interest, she can eat with confidence. Tends to eat without hesitation treats thrown as a nose walk.
