Nova

My story

Hi!  My name is Nova and l am looking for a forever home.  My previous owner had to move to a place that did not allow him to have me and asked a small local rescue about taking me in.  A volunteer with that rescue then contacted BCAA to see if they could help me and they said yes!  I'm about 2.5 years old so I won't get any bigger than I am now which is just a little over 6lbs.  I'm pretty shy but my foster parents are being really nice and patient with me and it's not taking me long to trust them, then I love being held and getting attention.  I have gotten along with all of the other small dogs I've met and don't bother the cats as they are twice as big as me!  I have done really well in my crate which I share with another small dog without any accidents, barking or tearing up of any bedding; we also eat side by side without any issues.  I don't appear to have ever had a leash on before so will need a secured fenced yard in order to take care of my business.  If you would like to meet me, please fill out an application which can be found at www.bcaaofnj.org. Interested in adopting this pet?Click here for BCAA's on-line Application!
