My story

All About Me Name: Glen Age: 6 years old(born in 2019) Gender: Male Neutered: Yes Microchip: Yes Breed: Jindo Mix Color: Brown Weight: 18kg/39lbs   My Personality   Hi, I’m Glen! When I was young, perhaps when I was about 5 months old, I was rescued and transferred to YongIn city shelter with my siblings. After staying there for about 2 more months, the city shelter couldn’t keep unclaimed dogs just like me any longer, so I was up on the list to be euthanized with my siblings. A warm-hearted rescuer heard this news, and they saved me on the last minute. So here I am, I am fully ready to start my new life! I’ve been told I have a wise soul and a calming presence maybe it comes from everything I’ve been through. I came into the shelter as a young pup and spent my early years surrounded by the sounds and routines of a group setting. During that time, I quietly learned how to understand the energy of the dogs and people around me. I may take a little time to open up to new humans, but once I feel safe, you’ll see a completely different side of me gentle, curious, and connected. People who know me say I’m a natural peacemaker. When tensions rise between other dogs, my calm presence has been known to smooth things over and bring a sense of harmony. I’m not flashy or loud. I don’t need to be the center of attention. But if you give me a little space and patience, you’ll find a deeply loyal friend with a soft coat, warm eyes, and a quiet way of saying “I’m here, and I trust you.”   Social Skills - With People: I may observe from a distance at first, especially with unfamiliar faces, but if you let me set the pace, I’ll come closer on my own time. Once we’ve built a bond, I’ll let you scoop me up gently, and I might even lean into your side just to feel close. I have met young children a few times in my life. I do believe that they are sweet and lovely to be friend with, but sometimes their sudden movements and high pitch noises make me uncomfortable. I would be perhaps happier to be in a family without young children.   - With Other Dogs: I’m very respectful and get along best with dogs that are calm or similar in size. I steer clear of conflict and avoid pushy play, but I’m happy to coexist and even build quiet friendships with dogs who have gentle energy.   - With Cats: I haven’t had the chance to meet any feline friends yet, but I am sure that I will be able to live peacefully with them when patience and right guidance are provided   On My Walks‍ Walks are something I enjoy especially when they’re taken at a comfortable pace. I sometimes pull a bit when I get excited, but I always try to stay near my person and check in. I’m still learning to feel fully at ease on busy roads or unfamiliar routes, so I’d love someone who can explore the outdoors with me, slowly and supportively   Life at Home At home, I’m a very easy roommate. I rarely bark and prefer to do my business outside. When it’s time to ride in the car, I feel most secure when you help me in gently, it’s not fear so much as unfamiliarity, and once I’m inside, I ride quietly and calmly. I’m not one to guard food or toys, whether around people or other dogs. I have a peaceful approach to sharing space and a soft way of moving through the world.   My Ideal Home   I’m looking for a quiet, kind-hearted home where I can truly feel safe and connected. I thrive with someone who values patience and can appreciate the depth of a dog who opens up slowly, but fully.   My perfect home would have: - A Gentle Rhythm: I love calm environments and thoughtful routines. - A Quiet Companion: Someone who lets me be myself, especially in the beginning. - A Kind Canine Friend (Optional): I’d do well solo or with another dog who respects space and calm.   If you're the kind of person who notices the small things the tilt of a head, the gentle wag of a tail, the way trust grows in silence then we might be a perfect match. I’m ready to be someone’s quiet joy and loyal companion. Let’s take the journey together.     ##2429885##
