Opa! Meet Athens – the Goofy Greek Guy with a Heart of Gold!Just like the lively spirit of his namesake city, Athens is all about joy, affection, and fun! This happy-go-lucky pup is always ready to play, whether it’s chasing toys, tumbling with his siblings, or bouncing around the room with puppy enthusiasm. He’s got a goofy charm that’s impossible to resist and a snuggly side that makes him the perfect cuddle buddy when it’s time to wind down.Athens is the kind of pup who greets every day with a wagging tail and a big heart. He’s silly, sweet, and totally devoted to anyone willing to give him a good belly rub or a soft spot to nap.Athens and his 10 siblings were born on May 3, 2025, and rescued from a heartbreaking situation—starving, covered in fleas, and full of parasites on a property overwhelmed with dogs. Neither parent was on-site when they were found, so their exact breed mix is a mystery—but their sweetness is undeniable.Now thriving in a foster home in Fort Worth, Texas, Athens is looking for a forever family ready to keep up with his puppy energy and give him the structure, training, and love he needs to grow into the amazing dog he’s destined to be.If you’re looking for a cuddly clown who will keep you laughing and loving every day, Athens is your guy!All of our dogs are located in a foster home in Texas, Colorado, or Pennsylvania. Our dogs are transported to a predetermined location agreed upon by the rescue. The adoption contract and fee are finalized prior to transport. As a Mutts N Such direct adoption, the adoption interview/meet and greet occurs on video call (Skype, FB Messenger call, Facetime, etc).Our out of state adoption fee is $350 plus transport (varies by location). This fee includes all current vaccinations, deworming, a registered microchip, fecal analysis, spay/neuter for pets 6 months & older, and a heartworm test if over 6 months old. All dogs will be current on flea/heartworm prevention. A health exam will be completed and a certificate issued by a veterinarian within 10 days.
