Jem

My story

Jem is an 8 month old, male Flat Coat Retriever puppy who was rescued from a shelter on the euthanasia list, and GRRAND making a spot for him literally saved his life. All shelters are doing the best they can, but with so many unaltered pets multiiplying without boundaries, they are just overwhelmed!  Jem is in a foster home and they say: "Jem is just a typical playful puppy... super sweet and loving. He is very friendly and calm with the kids and dogs he met on our street. He's got a lot of curls and a vertical leap like an Australian Shepherd. When walking him, his nose is to the ground and stubborn when he gets a scent, and everything out here is new, so he wants to mark every twig, leaf or rock he comes across! Jet is very affectionate and a good companion. He's a really great dog!" We are still learning about Jem, but we do know he is just a puppy, and will need a family committed to giving him the exercise and direction he needs to be a good boy! Any applicant with children under the age of 16, will require a home with direct access to a securely fenced yard... meaning direct access to the yard from the home… so this means no apartments or condos.  Please check back for more info, but if you would like to meet this cutie, please fill out an app at GRRAND.org ##2429092##
