My story

Hash Browns foster mom here, and I wanted to tell you about this amazing little guy. He is about 3 months old, already tipping the scales at nearly 20 lbs., and growing like a weed! He has soft, soulful green eyes and is one of the calmest, coolest puppies youre going to find. He plays wonderfully with our Boston Terrier who, at 15 lbs, is now smaller than he is. He is respectful of our older dogs, who are not fans of puppy energy, though he likes to follow along on their walks around the yard just to see what theyre up to. Hash Brown is crate trained and is doing great with house training. He is very smart and has fit right into our household routine with ease. He has not been around cats or kids, but his gentle nature says that he will do well with both. Dont get me wrong, Hash Brown is all puppy. He delights in grabbing a throw rug and dashing out the door with it, and getting into things he shouldnt, but thats a puppy for ya! He learned leave it pretty fast and is easily redirected to appropriate toys. One important note: Hash Brown is not afraid to speak his mind. He will let you know if dinner is taking its sweet time or if he has been left alone longer than he would prefer, so an apartment may not be the best fit. Hash Brown is neutered, microchipped and current on all his vaccinations. He is being fostered in Plainfield, Indiana and his adoption fee is $355. If you are interested in adopting an ARPO pet, please visit our website at arporescue.org to learn more about our adoption process and complete our adoption application. ARPO limits adoptions to within 50 miles of Indianapolis. We do not have a shelter; all pets are in volunteer foster homes.

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Hash Brown, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
