My story

Meet Josie, a tenderhearted 3.5-year-old looking for her fresh start. This Tennessee native wears a beautiful black and white coat and soulful brown eyes that tell a story of resilience and quiet hope. Though her past may have had some rough patches, Josie’s heart is full of love and longing for a forever home. At around 30 pounds, she’s the perfect medium-sized companion — easy to cuddle, easy to love. Josie can be a little shy at first, but with patience, kindness, and a gentle hand, she’ll slowly let her sweet, affectionate nature shine. She's ready to blossom in a safe and loving environment, and when she does, you'll see just how special she truly is. If you believe in second chances and the magic of watching a dog come into her own, Josie is ready to meet you. This cutie resides at our Wantagh location and meetings are by appointment only.
