My story

Hey there, friend! I’m Tater Tot—a 2-year-old Corgi-Dachshund mix with stubby little legs, a long body full of wiggles, and a heart that's bursting with love! I weigh about 40 pounds, which means I'm sturdy enough for adventures but still the perfect size to fit right into your lap (or at least try!).Let me tell you a little about myself! I’m a happy, playful, and super affectionate girl who loves making new friends. I get along wonderfully with other dogs, kids, and even the elderly, which makes me a perfect fit for just about any family. I love being around people and am always ready for belly rubs, ear scratches, or just following you around like your biggest fan.I’m pretty good on a leash and enjoy my walks, even if I might need a little boost into the car (short legs, you know?). I ride well once I’m in and I also do great in a crate. I’m not 100% confirmed house-trained just yet, but I know how to use a doggie door and much prefer to do my business outside—so I’m well on my way!Playtime is one of my favorite parts of the day. Whether it’s chasing a toy, doing a little zoomie dance, or just goofing off in the yard, I’m always up for fun. But once the energy is out, my favorite thing in the world is to cuddle up on the couch with you and be your personal snuggle buddy. I’m a firm believer that life is better when shared with someone you love—preferably on a soft blanket.I’m already spayed, fully vaccinated, and microchipped, so I’m all set to head home with my forever family—could that be you?If you’re looking for a bright, bouncy, and loving little lady to make your days warmer and your nights cozier, come meet me at the shelter! You can also give them a call at 479-394-5682 if you want to learn more. I’ll be here, wagging my tail and saving your spot on the couch! 🐾💕****************All animals at HSO are current on their vaccinations and will be spayed/neutered prior to adoption. If not already spayed/neutered, there may be a short delay between when you select this pet and when they are ready to go home.Breed and age are determined based on observable physical traits. Actual lineage and birth date are rarely known.Adoption Fees:-$60 for cats-$60 for dogs over 6 years-$80 for dogs 6 months old to 6 years-$100 for puppies up to 6 monthsCome visit our pets Tuesday-Saturday, 10am-2pm.

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Tater Tot, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
