My story

Please consider sponsoring a cat. For a little as $10 a month you can help us help more animals in need.This gorgeous girl was rescued after being abandoned at a hotel. Carmella is super affectionate and social with people, a lot of fun and very good company. But she is a Calico Princess who doesn’t want to be friends with other cats or dogs, so we’re looking for a home where she would have her humans to herself. Carmella is barely a year old and she still has quite a kitten vibe - sticking her nose into everything, loves to play and runs around the house when the zoomies strike. Her favorite is teaser wand play with foster mom, pouncing and leaping into the air until she’s panting and tired, followed by some delicious kitty treats. Carmella likes to know where her people are and to hang out nearby, looking out the window or watching TV. She gives lots of kisses and purrs. At bedtime, she spends some time in the people bed, then snuggles into her own bed close by until it’s time to wake up humans for breakfast. Our adoption fees are $75.00 for any kitty 6 months of age or older. $85 for kittens under 6 months of age. Included in each adoption: age appropriate shots, microchip, and spay/neuter surgery. All kitties are litterbox trained. Prior to meeting or adopting any of our wonderful kitties, we ask that you please fill out our online Cat Adoption Application on our website aaFlorida.org/adopt.  There is a link on the top of the home page.
