My story

Meet Abe! This handsome guy is a 10-year-old Chihuahua weighing in at just 5.5 lbs. Abe is a loving pup with a laid-back personality and gentle demeanor. According to his foster, Abe is the easiest pup you could ask for – he’s a true cuddle bug who loves nothing more than hanging out with his people for pets and belly rubs. While Abe is a bit of a homebody, he enjoys leisurely strolls in the neighborhood, especially when there are flower beds to sniff. He is crate-trained and a very smart boy. Sometimes, if you talk to Abe, this little guy will answer right back! Abe coexists well with other dogs but would prefer a fur sibling who lives a more laid-back lifestyle. He would also be just as happy soaking up all the attention as a solo pup. If you're looking to open your home to a sweet and snuggly senior pup to live out his golden years, consider Abe.
