Meet Dixie! Age: 2 years Gender: Female Spayed: Not yet Status: Owner surrender Dixie is a smart, affectionate girl who’s looking for a fresh start and a forever home to call her own. She came to us as an owner surrender following an altercation with a smaller dog. Because of this, Dixie appears to be dog-selective, so we require a meet-and-greet with any resident dogs to ensure a good match. Dixie may take a little time to warm up to new people, but once she trusts you, she becomes an absolute sweetheart — full of snuggles, tail wags, and kisses. Treats are definitely the way to her heart, and her eagerness to please makes her a quick learner. She loves her daily walks, enjoys exploring the world with her nose, and is always up for some cuddle time with her favorite humans. With a patient, loving home and proper introductions, Dixie has all the potential to be an amazing lifelong companion. Are you ready to give Dixie the second chance she deserves?
