My story

Butters is a striking male cat with a big personality and a dash of classic catitude. Once a stray navigating life on his own, Butters has come a long way and is learning that people can be kind, patient, and even pretty great. He's looking for a cat-savvy adopter who can read feline body language and respect his boundaries - someone who understands that trust takes time and is willing to let Butters set the pace. He's had a couple of teeth removed, which doesn't bother him one bit - though it has given him a unique little quirk: sometimes his lips get adorably stuck on his gums, giving him a slightly lopsided and very endearing expression.Butters would do best in a calm, adult-only home without small children. He prefers a quieter environment where he can feel safe, relax, and let his guard down. With patience and understanding, Butters will start showing you glimpses of his affectionate side.Because he can be shy with new people, Butters may need a couple of meet-and-greets to truly feel comfortable. But for the right person, earning his trust will be a deeply rewarding experience. If you're someone who appreciates a cat with a bit of sass, a lot of soul, and a wonderfully quirky smile, Butters just might be your perfect match.1.) Visit our centre to meet this pet during adoption viewings Friday to Wednesday noon to 3pm, learn more about their ideal match, and apply to adopt in person; or 2.) Submit an online application adopt.spca.bc.ca and staff will contact the first suitable adopter to set-up a visit! Kindly note that due to the high number of applications and the availability of walk-in adoptions an online applicant would have to be available to come in for a meet within 24 hrs. Primary Color: Orange Tabby Secondary Color: Orange Weight: 5.72 Age: 3yrs 1mths 2wks

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Butters, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
