My story

Hey, you can call me Dinah--everyone here at the shelter does! I'm a brown tabby girl kitty who is about 5 months old. I'm friendly and get along with other kitties pretty well! One of the other kitties in another cage hissed at me when my photo was being taken, and it didn't bother me at all! I wonder why she would do that? I'm pretty curious, and I also have a nice, soft purr when I'm getting pet. Maybe she was jealous of the attention I was getting--I hope that cat gets attention, too, because I want all of us to find our furever family! You might notice that I have the same name as the tabby cat from Alice in Wonderland--I think that's who I'm named after, which is pretty cool!   The adoption fee covers the following: spay or neuter surgery; one-year rabies vaccine; feline or canine distemper vaccine; heartworm test (dogs) or combo (fiv/felv) test (cats); deworming; and microchip. Carroll County Animal Shelter is located at 251 Automation Drive in Carrollton GA. Phone: 770-214-3590. The hours of operation are: Monday through Wednesday 12:30 pm till 4:30 pm; Thursday 12:30 pm till 6:00 pm; Friday 12:30 pm till 4:30 pm; Saturday 9:00 am till 4:00 pm. The Carroll County Animal Shelter will be closed the last Friday of every month for deep cleaning, staff training, and animal enrichment.    June 13, 2025, 8:59 pm

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Dinah, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
