My story

Introducing Odyssey! He was brought to the shelter on 6/5 because he was on a journey to find his way home and got lost. Sadly, no one has come to reclaim him. So now he is on a quick search for that forever home who will keep him safe, loved and secure so he never has to enter a loud, overcrowded shelter ever again. Odyssey is only 6 years old and weighs a mere 54lbs. The volunteers describe him as a nice dog who is sweet, cute, and obedient. He is so quiet in his kennel as well as outside you would never know he was there. Please take some time and visit with him in Run 24; his ID is 10616. He is waiting for you! Please help him find his way out of the shelter and into your heart, home and family. When choosing a forever pup, please make sure you have the space, time, patience, love and lifestyle to ensure Odyssey has the best upbringing possible. Odyssey is current on vaccines, will be neutered and microchipped and tested negative for heartworms. Please take some time and schedule to meet this awesome kiddo and get to know him a little better. Odyssey is probably what you have been looking for all this time. He is patiently waiting for his forever family to save his life. Note - all the listings on Friends of Shelter Animals for Cobb are done by volunteers. If this cat or dog came in as a lost animal, we do not know how they might be with children, other pets, or if house trained. You can bring your pet to the shelter for a meet & greet with your potential new best friend. When inquiring about a cat or dog, please use THE ID NUMBER. This pet is available for adoption from Cobb County Animal Services, 1060 Al Bishop Dr. Marietta, GA 30008, (770) 499-4136. Shelter hours: Tues. - Sun. 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., closed Mondays & Holidays. The adoption includes shots, altering, a heart worm or combo test and a microchip.
