My story

Didi is a Malt-Poo who is 3 years old and weighs 10 pounds.  Don't judge a book by its cover.  Poor Didi was a victim of some clipper-happy unskilled shelter worker who butchered her while she was under getting spayed.  Take a look at the before picture for reference on her coat before it was stripped.  These pics of her now are after our groomer did whatever they could to fix the ragged mess.   Didi is originally a little timid at first around strangers but will warm up quickly with some pets and kind words.  With her foster parents she's been playful and affectionate.  She seems to trust women more quickly than men but she bonds with both.  She is housetrained and enjoys toys and is alert and interested in whatever is going on.  Due to her time on the streets in survival mode, Didi is still a little hesitant on the leash on walks and needs to develop more confidence.  She would enjoy the company of another dog who will play with her and a yard.   Didi is a diamond in the rough and deserves a new start in a loving forever home.  She has all her shots, is spayed and microchipped.  If you're interested in meeting her, please fill out the adoption application on our website bichonsandbuddies.com.  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.June 13, 2025, 2:15 pm

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Didi, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
