My story

Jelly is as sweet as her name - can you be her peanut butter forever buddy? Jelly is 3 years old and weighs 55 lbs. Jelly is an affectionate, playful and athletic dog who wants to please. Jelly is well behaved in the home, superbly housebroken and a great travel buddy. Her foster dad frequently takes her to work (which is Passage East daycare in Wilton, CT) to hang out with other dogs. Jelly bonds quickly and is a social butterfly. She loves to run and get her "zoomies” out and is eager to be part of a family. Jelly likes most other dogs and is very physical when she plays. She is super smart and is learning basic training. Jelly is a quick study and has made such progress! She will surely flourish even more with continued training, something that her current foster family is willing to help with, too. Jelly has touched her foster family deeply with her resilience and love and will make a wonderful companion if given a chance. Jelly is so lovable and adorable, and if you have a lap, she wants to be in it! When she curls up into a ball to take a nap, she is just the cutest little "Jelly roll" Jelly's Story: Jelly was a loving family pet for 3 years until her owners had a career change requiring them to travel. Poor Jelly was so confused when she was surrendered to the overcrowded city shelter. She was also suffering from painful ear infections and limited hearing and became at risk for euthanasia. Thankfully, a kind family in southern CT offered to foster Jelly - and sponsor half her surgery, too! Jelly was rescued and had a double Total Ear Canal Ablation shortly after. Now, she can live a pain-free life and she has regained her hearing recently. Jelly has fully healed and is now available for adoption! Jelly is fully vetted, spayed, micro chipped, and ready to go home with YOU! If you can open your heart & home to dear Jelly, please contact AmsterDog by call/text at 917-689-8414 or by email at info@amsterdog.org. Apply to adopt Jelly at AmsterDog.org/application. Thanks for caring about a pet in need!

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Jelly, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
