My story

Thunder and Lightning are young kittens currently being treated for mild upper respiratory infections (URI) and are on prescribed medications. They are beginning to eat on their own. Both are sweet, curious, and starting to show their playful personalities. They need a foster home where they can recover in a calm environment, receive their medications as directed, and be monitored for any changes in appetite or symptoms. Ideally, they should be kept separate from other cats until medically cleared. They are ring worm positive and will require medications and lyme dips while they recover. Reason for Foster: Underage/Underweight, URI, and Ringworm Foster Time Frame: 3+ weeks(The foster time frame may be longer depending on future rechecks and medical needs.) Foster Care Plan: These kittens are eating wet food every 4-5 hours and are being treated for an upper respiratory infection and ringworm. Regular weighing of kittens is essential to ensure they are steadily gaining weight. They will benefit from a constant heat source and assistance with litter box training. They will go to their foster home with medication and will need lime dips. We strongly recommend keeping them in a separate, dedicated space such as a spare bathroom or bedroom until they have fully recovered. Upon arrival, we will provide a kitten nursery consultation and offer training if needed.
