My story

Meet Tulip! Tulip is a beautiful calico. She is a very playful girl! She does well with other kittens. We believe she is about 8 weeks old (as of 6/13/25).  Tulip did test positive for roundworms. She is currently being treated for this. Roundworms can be passed to other animals and to humans through ingestion of the contaminated feces. We recommend cleaning the stool from her litter box well and make sure there is no fecal material on Tulip to prevent transfer. Tulip is spayed, microchipped, and fecal tested. She also has had a FIV/FeLV/heartworm test and is negative for all 3. She is current on age appropriate vaccines. The $125.00 adoption fee ( payable by cash or check only ) includes: spay/neuter; vaccinations; microchip; fecal testing w/ giardia, flea prevention, and FIV/FeLV testing. Cats and kittens available for adoption may be seen by visiting us during office hours, an application is not needed to adopt cats and kittens. Our adoption application may be found by going to: www.headinhomerescue.org; then click on the link to the adoption application. Cats for adoption may be seen by appointment only following an approved application.  Please note: while we welcome out of state applications, we do not ship our animals and require adopters to come to Holland to finalize any adoption. If you have any questions or would like to adopt Tulip, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
