Jackrabbit was also noted to have shown evidence of the "sit" cue. During their walk on 6/14, Jackrabbit was noted to have mild jumpiness, medium-high energy, and "very sweet, knows sit, treat motivated. Barks when seeing other dogs, easy to redirect." On 6/15, Jackrabbit participated in playgroup with no notes. On 6/16, Jackrabbit went for 3 walks. First walk no notes were recorded. Second walk, Jackrabbit was noted to have mild jumpiness, medium energy, and "barked at other dogs through fence, loves treats, playful, and jumpy." Third walk, Jackrabbit was noted to have no issues and medium energy. On 6/17, Jackrabbit was noted to have mild jumpiness, medium-high energy, and "barks at other dogs through fence, loves to play, knows to sit, enjoys treats." On a second walk on 6/17, Jackrabbit was noted to have no issues. On 6/28, Jackrabbit went for 3 walks. First walk, there were no issues noted. Second walk, no notes were recorded. Third walk, Jackrabbit was noted to have no issues and medium energy, "playfully jumpy, very sweet, loves wet food. loves chew bones." On 6/29, Jackrabbit was noted to have no issues and medium energy. Day tri pnotes 6/17/25: Jack and I went on a 2 to 3 hours hike at Sanders Nature Preserve and got a pup cup. He is a very high energy dog and wasn’t fazed by the hike. He did some very minor leash biting if we started running and he was very reactive (barking and lunging) to other dogs. However, he was great with people and in the car. He let me kiss his face, play with his ears and he even knew commands like sit and wait. Also, he was very gentle taking treats and very food motivated. 06/15/2025 staff notes, playgroup: Barrier reactive, frustrated, excited, shake can steer, high tail wags, handler ori, playful, vocal, pushy, gave correction 06/13/2025 volunteer notes: Jackrabbit was in a crate. When I approached, he was standing at the front. I opened the door and put my leash in. He flinched back slightly but I was able to easily loop it around his head and he came out of the crate. Jackrabbit mostly loose leash walks. Outside he sniffed and explored. At the sight of a treat, Jackrabbit immediately sits and waits patiently. He mostly takes treats gently but can be a bit more snatchy with high value treats. Jackrabbit seems very food motivated. Jackrabbit can be a bit jumpy, jumping up to solicit attention from his handler. He allows handling all over and seem to lean in for pets. Jackrabbit greeted others with soft eyes, a loose body and a wagging tail. His tail wagged so viciously that it was hitting himself on the sides. Jackrabbit bounced and hopped around the office. He followed toys and took possession. He traded for treats. Jackrabbit easily returned to his crate. Stopping to sniff some other pups in their crates. He had little reaction to dogs who were reactive in their crates. Green 06/13/2025 staff notes: very wiggly, social, food motivated, cuddly, loves to play, allowed all over handling 06/13/2025 staff notes, intake: finder stated the dog was tied to a fence in the parked . Upon arrival we saw the poor baby laying down curled up. When I approached him with soft baby voices his tail was wagging. When I took the leach off he gave me a greeting stretch. And began to give me hugs and kisses ACCT Philly is located at 111 West Hunting Park Ave in. We are open for adoptions 7 days a week. Please visit www.acctphilly.org/adopt for details.
