My story
Piglet was a stray in Cedar Rapids. He was getting picked on pretty bad by the other community cats. His caretaker befriended him and took him to the vet for a checkup and vaccinations. Piglet tested positive for FIV. It's not a death sentence and he can live with other cats if precautions are taken to avoid fighting.Indoor homes only unless the cat is part of our barn cat program. Home visits are required so we are limit adoptions to approximately 45 minutes from Cedar Rapids, IA. Iowa adoptions only -no out of state adoptions. Our Cedar Rapids adoption center is open by appointment only at this time. You may schedule an appointment on our Facebook page or website. Click "Book Now" for available days and times.
