My story

Flapjack needed a name that fit his personality and flappy ears! Flapjack is estimated to be 4-5 months old and decided to join his friends and hit a ride to the Midwest. This was after months of sitting in a shelter at our shelter partner in Texas. Thanks to our friends at Dog is My Co Pilot he made it here safely to us. So far we have noticed the following things: - He doesn't realize how leggy he truly is and so he is a clumsy baby who gives you a good laugh. - He is a lover, he wants to say hi and hang out but also is capable of keeping himself occupied with a fun toy! - He is working on crate training. He definitely is comfortable napping in his safe space. On initial settle sometimes he is quiet from the start and sometimes he does take a few minutes. - He is dog friendly and loves to play! He would love to have a friend or just continued socializing with the besties he hasn't met yet. - As always he is a puppy that is adjusting to living in a home so it is filled with excitement but also need for patience. Flapjack is being fostered in Chicago and is available for adoption within 3 hours of Chicago. His adoption fee includes his neuter, up to date vaccines and prevention, dewormed and microchip. If you are interested in being considered his forever home please apply directly. If you have any questions before applying please email adopt@chicagorescueauthority.org.

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Flapjack, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
