Junie B Jones A17550634 lb. spayed female, approx 1 year old -Very energetic out of the gate! Wants to run vs. walk on leash. Jogging partner?-She’s active and likes to zoom!-She’s playful and likes toys-She also knows how to settle in for snuggles and kisses-She’s treat motivated, sits sometimes and takes them nicely-I threw my hands up, when we were playing, and she hit the deck. It made her very nervous. Poor baby! She recovered quickly and barreled back into my lap for more snuggles. But she’s definitely head shy and her new adopters need to be aware and take things slow with her-Seems non reactive to dogs nearby and may do well living with a fur sibling after slow and proper intros Unknown behavior with dogs/cats/kids•Meet all of our adoptable pets on our website friendsofdacc.org/adopt •Please keep in mind that the shelter can be a very stressful environment. •Studies show that a minimum of 3 days decompression drastically lower stress hormones and allow the dog to show more personality after they have settled in. •There is a suggested donation of $100 for our dogs, payable by cash, check or through paypal at the time of the adoption. •To meet them please go to front door and a DACC staff member will assist you with adoption or fostering. **And when coming to meet one of our dogs, please bring all the humans with you, but leave any current dogs at home. Staff will go over how to slowly and properly introduce them after a decompression period.** •The shelter is open 7 days a week from 10:30-5:30 **1431 E Ferry St. Detroit
If you have any questions or would like to adopt Junie B Jones, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
