Hi! My name is Honey and I’m at the Santa Barbara Campus. I’m a 1 year old female Shepherd mix who is eager for a new home! I'd like to think I'm described just like the pleasant nectar many people love- I'm amber in color, sweet in nature, and smell earthy (the dirt kind)! I came in with a few of my pups and of course my pups got adopted before me but I'm still hopeful my person is out there! I'd be a perfect fit for your family if you like to run, hike, play fetch, go on active adventures, and can dedicate some time towards my basic manners and socialization. I was transferred from a rescue and staff here have helped me come out of my shell a lot (I used to be shy and didn't know how to walk on leash!) but I still have a long way to go. So come on in and ask about me, I'm a whopping 55 pounds of love! Interested in meeting me? Adoption Centers are open daily 12-4:30pm, closed Wednesdays. Adoptions are on a first-come first served basis. For more information please email Adopt@SBHumane.org or call 805-964-4777. When I am adopted, I will have been spayed or neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. My adopters will receive a certificate for a free veterinary exam and our partners at Purina will provide a supply of food for my first few days at home.
If you have any questions or would like to adopt Honey, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
