Meet Benito – A Tiny Fighter with a Big Heart 💙🐾 Benito may be small, but this spunky, high-energy kitten has already overcome more than most cats will in a lifetime. Found with intestinal parasites and nerve damage to his back legs, Benito’s early days were tough—but he never gave up. Thanks to antibiotics and a strong will, he’s regained full mobility in his back legs and is now a playful little whirlwind of energy and joy. Benito still faces a challenge: he’s not yet able to control his bladder or bowels due to the effects of toxoplasmosis, but he’s making progress every day. He does well in a crate—though he may leave a bit of a mess—and he needs a loving, patient home willing to continue supporting his unique needs. He’s not litter box trained yet, but he has the spirit and smarts to keep trying with your help. Despite everything, Benito is a tenacious little ball of fur who refuses to let anything slow him down. He turns anything into a toy—food, litter, your shoelaces—and will pounce and leap around the room like a kitten on a mission. His playful antics are sure to make you laugh, and when he's finally ready to settle down, he has moments of the sweetest, most tender affection. His soft purrs and deep gaze will absolutely melt your heart.
