My story

Mr. Bueno is a whole mood—and that mood is pure joy. He’s the kind of dog who greets the world with a big ol’ tail wag, a wiggly body, and a generous helping of kisses. When staff leashed him up for a walk, he was thrilled, strutting down the kennel aisle like it was his personal red carpet. Outside, he asked politely for attention (okay, maybe with a little hop of excitement) and leaned in for pets like he’d been waiting all day just for that moment.Mr. Bueno`s got a little extra zest in his step when he spots small animals, so he’d prefer a home without cats, bunnies, or squirrels on the guest list. But what he really wants is someone to love, a yard to sniff, and a couch to share. He’s a dog who will absolutely make your day, every day, just by being his big-hearted, silly, affectionate self. Adopting Mr. Bueno means getting a best friend who’s equal parts snugglebug and adventurer—what more could you ask for?Adoptions are free and include support from our adoption team to ensure a smooth transition from the shelter to your home.
