Nala

My story

Meet Nala, a sweet and gentle soul who wandered up to a porch and never left.  Nala is a calm companion who always stays close to home, even without a fence.  She is friendly, but not overly friendly with new people. She might seem a bit shy at first, but once she warms up, she wants to be right by your side.  She loves to be playful with dogs, and will be submissive to them. She is also great around kids and will tolerate cats. Nala enjoys car rides and does great on a leash. She will walk at your pace and mostly ignore the world around her. Her energy level is medium and she’ll be a good girl all day with a nice little stroll in the morning.  Because we don’t know her full backstory, we are guessing she is approximately 10 months old and some kind of shepherd and collie mix. She currently weighs about 45 pounds and we don’t expect her to get too much bigger. She is spayed and up to date on all vaccines and prevention.  Nala is truly an angel who would thrive in so many different kinds of forever homes. Could it be with you? Our rescue pets are fostered in Southern foster homes (unless otherwise stated) and are posted for adoption once they are completely vetted and ready to travel. Our pets are adoptable in Alabama, Pennsylvania and New England States. Our adoption fee includes transport fee, spay/neuter, current vaccinations, deworming, heart worm test for animals over 7 months old, all necessary vetting and an interstate health certificate.
