My story

Meet Bronze — a gentle soul with a brave beginning Bronze is a calm, affectionate kitten with a heart as warm as his sleek, jet-black coat — and ears so big and perky, they could practically have a personality of their own. With those expressive, pointy ears always on alert, Bronze takes in the world with quiet curiosity and a gentle spirit. He was found abandoned on a porch in Olathe with his two siblings, left behind until a kind-hearted good Samaritan brought them to the safety of Melissa’s Second Chances. Since then, Bronze has blossomed in foster care — becoming the most mellow of the bunch and a total sweetheart. Bronze loves to cuddle, especially tucked into the crook of your neck, and he’s never one for rough play — no scratches or nips from this respectful little guy. He’s also a top-notch “mouser” (of the toy variety), proudly carrying his favorite fake mouse to bed each night like a prized catch.
