My story

Sydney is a charming, black-coated girl with a heart as big as her puppy-dog eyes. She’s playful and confident, yet always ready to shower you with kisses and affection. Sydney thrives with structure and affection, and her lab-like personality makes her very trainable. She is spayed, microchipped, fully vaccinated, and on monthly flea/tick and heartworm prevention. Sydney is ready for her next chapter with a loving family by her side. 🐾 Ready to Adopt? Here's How! The first step in our adoption process is submitting an application through our website. Simply visit: https://www.hoovesandpaws.org/shelterluv.html, click on the pet’s photo to view their full bio, then click “Apply for Adoption” to get started. Please give us a few days to review your application. If approved, you’ll receive an email from adoptions@hoovesandpaws.org to schedule a meet and greet (including any necessary dog-to-dog introductions). If the meet and greet goes well and you’d like to move forward, we’ll schedule a home check—this means we’ll bring your new furry friend to your home ourselves. This helps ensure a smooth transition and gives your new pup a familiar face upon arrival. We’ll finalize the adoption at that time! Questions, comments, or concerns?
