Meet Beckham! ?? Beckham is a stunning 1-year-old Akita/Pitbull mix who’s ready to leave his past behind and start a new chapter! Found as a stray, this chocolate-colored cutie has a heart full of love and a whole lot of playful energy. Beckham is a total people-lover and greets everyone like a long-lost friend. He’s a high-energy pup who still has some learning to do—he gets a little jumpy when excited and doesn’t quite realize how big he is, so gentle corrections and structure will go a long way. He’s strong on leash, so a confident, active owner is the perfect match for this big lovebug. He’s done well with other dogs, doesn’t seem to mind cats, and we believe he’d be fine with respectful kids who can handle his goofy enthusiasm. Beckham also appears to be housebroken—bonus! Despite his size, Beckham thinks he’s a lap dog and loves to snuggle up close.
